The Sun World Sam Son – Thanh Hoa entertainment complex features both a water park and a theme park, covering over 3 hectares with an investment exceeding 6,000 billion VND. Situated in Quang Chau, Quang Tien ward, Sam Son's gateway, it's about 13 km from Thanh Hoa city center and just 1.5 km from Sam Son Beach. This entertainment complex, under the Sun World brand of Sun Group, is set to become the leading outdoor park development in North Central Vietnam.
The design inspiration of the park
Sun World Sam Son draws inspiration from the flow of culture, connecting and sharing the legendary stories of Vietnam's ethnic groups. The landscape design is striking, incorporating local architectural motifs and materials harmoniously with international architectural styles. Visitors can enjoy a variety of water park attractions, ideal not only for thrill-seekers but also for families and children, featuring wave pools, lazy rivers, intense water slides, and more. Notably, Sun Son Water Park introduces the highest and first-ever water slides in Asia.
Sun World Sam Son is also surrounded by rows of palm trees and various shade-providing plants, creating a green space where visitors can enjoy lively fun and rejuvenate amidst the beautiful coastal city.

In its initial phase, Sun World Sam Son unveiled 9 of the 14 water play zones at Sam Son Water Park. These attractions are divided into three zones: Zone 1 for all age groups, Zone 2 for families and children, and Zone 3 for thrill-seekers. Additional attractions will continue to be completed and opened after the grand launch. The park also features a variety of food stalls and cafes spread across its vast area to cater to the visitors' dining and relaxation needs.
A standout and unique feature of Sam Son Water Park compared to many other water parks is its wave pool (the tsunami bay). Covering 6,100 m2, with an artificial shoreline stretching 179 meters, this is the largest and most prominent attraction. It is inspired by the legend of Son Tinh and Thuy Tinh, offering exhilarating challenges. Meanwhile, the 550m long lazy river surrounding the children's play area evokes the calm D river of Sam Son, allowing visitors to float along and experience a refreshing, relaxing journey reminiscent of childhood.

Ticket Prices
The admission fees for the water park in Sầm Sơn are 350,000 VND per adult and 250,000 VND per child on weekdays, from July 1st to August 11th. On weekends, the prices increase to 500,000 VND per adult and 400,000 VND per child.
Residents of Thanh Hóa will enjoy special discounted prices ranging from 250,000 VND to 400,000 VND for adults, and from 200,000 VND to 300,000 VND for children, depending on whether it's a weekday or a weekend.
*Note: For residents of Thanh Hóa:
– Visitors must bring personal identification with a registered address in Thanh Hóa, such as a national ID, citizen ID card, or any other valid photo ID for adults, and either a photo ID or no ID for children.
– Customers must verify their identity with FaceID at the ticket gate in order to receive the discounted rate.
