Every airline strives to deliver passengers' luggage quickly and intact to their destination. However, in unfortunate cases where luggage is delayed or lost, passengers should be well-informed about the airline's policies to handle the situation efficiently. Let’s review the latest update from Vietravel Airlines with Mytour.
GENERAL INFORMATION
If you discover that your luggage has been delayed or lost, passengers should take the following steps:
- Please contact the lost luggage desk at the arrival airport for assistance and guidance.
- Provide the staff with any relevant details regarding your missing luggage (such as baggage claim ticket number, description of the luggage, etc.).
- Immediately report any issues with your luggage (loss, damage, delayed baggage) to Vietravel Airlines at the baggage claim area so that they can create an incident report.

If you notice any issues with your luggage, head straight to the Lost & Found counter of the airline at the airport.
FOR DELAYED LUGGAGE
If, upon arrival at the airport, passengers cannot locate their checked luggage, please follow the simple steps below to report the issue.
- Report the delay: You may report the delayed luggage at the Lost Luggage counter in the arrival hall. DO NOT FORGET to inform Vietravel Airlines about your return or onward journey, provide your contact details (phone number & email), and specify any items inside your luggage in the irregular baggage report. Make sure to obtain a copy of the Property Irregularity Report (PIR) once you've completed the declaration.
- Recognize your delayed luggage reference number: You will receive a reference number for your Property Irregularity Report (PIR) to follow up on your case later.
- Receive updates: The airline will send daily updates via email during the first week. Additionally, you can contact the Lost Luggage department by phone/email, as provided in the irregular baggage report, for information about your luggage.
FOR DAMAGED LUGGAGE
At the arrival airport, to ensure your rights, passengers are kindly requested to inspect their luggage before leaving. If any damage, loss, or non-receipt of luggage is noticed, please contact the Vietravel Airlines staff at the Lost Luggage counter to file a Property Irregularity Report (PIR). If your checked luggage is damaged, please report it immediately at the airport.
If you discover that your luggage has been damaged after leaving the airport, please contact the Lost Luggage department at the airport and submit a report within 7 days from your flight's arrival date. The airline will do its best to assist within the allowed capabilities.
We hope the useful information provided here helps Mytour customers prepare well for upcoming flights with Vietravel Airlines. If you have any questions or wish to book a flight, feel free to contact the Mytour hotline at 1900 2083 for quick and efficient assistance.
