During the 3-day New Year's holiday break, from January 31, 2022, to January 2, 2023, the lowest ticket price for this route was 950,000 VND/one way, which was offered by VietJet Air. However, on the day before, December 30, 2022, the starting fare was as high as 1,119,000 VND/one way, also from VietJet Air.

In January, right from the beginning of the month, ticket prices for the Ho Chi Minh City - Hai Phong route were very high, and they continued to rise rapidly as the month progressed. The price for the first few days of the month was around 950,000 VND/one way, but by January 5th and 6th, 2023, it had increased to 1,119,000 VND/one way, reaching up to 2,550,000 VND/one way by January 16th and 17th, 2023 (which corresponds to the 25th and 26th of the Lunar New Year, Year of the Tiger).

Ticket prices began to decrease gradually after January 23, 2023 (which corresponds to the 2nd of January in the Lunar calendar of the Year of the Cat).
