Two ferries depart daily from Rạch Giá port to Hòn Sơn, with the first departure at 8:15 AM. If you are coming from Ho Chi Minh City, it's recommended to take the bus around midnight, arriving at the Rạch Giá bus station by 6:00 AM. From there, a transfer bus will take you to the pier, which is about a 30-minute ride. After purchasing your ticket, you can explore the area, grab some breakfast, and relax before boarding. If you're coming from a different location, it's important to arrive at the pier about an hour before the ferry departs to secure your ticket. The island currently has five beaches: Bãi Bàng, Bãi Nhà, Bãi Thiên Thuế, Bãi Giếng, and Bãi Bấc. All of them are pristine and clean. Among these, Bãi Bàng is considered the most beautiful beach, with a 1 km crescent-shaped coastline, sheltered by large and small rocks on both sides. The center features a long, smooth, and flat sandy shore.
