Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar Airport, is located about 82 km from the center of Bali. It is the second busiest airport in Indonesia, following Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Currently, this airport has two terminals: a domestic terminal and an international terminal.

3. Guide for traveling from Denpasar Airport (Bali) to the city
To get from the airport to the city center, you can choose between taking a taxi or a bus.
- The bus is the most affordable option, costing around 3,500 - 7,000 IDR per ride (~5,500 - 11,000 VND). Tickets can be purchased upon boarding. Below are details of the three main bus routes from Ngurah Rai Airport to central Bali:

+ Bus 02: Bali Airport - Jimbaran - Nusa Dua
+ Bus 03: Bali Airport - Kuta - Legian - Denpasar - Batubulan
- Taxis are also a popular mode of transportation at Bali Airport. For a better fare, head to the third floor of the airport to catch a taxi instead of using the one on the first floor.
- If you're traveling from the city to the airport, you can take a Shuttle Bus directly to the airport (60,000 IDR from Ubud town) or use Grab/Uber services. Be sure to leave early as traffic jams in Bali can be just as hectic as in Vietnam.
4. Important Notes for Immigration Procedures at Denpasar Bali
Visa and Passport:
– Vietnamese citizens are exempt from visa requirements for tourism to Bali/Indonesia for up to 30 days, including the arrival and departure days (calculated as full days). The passport must be valid for at least 6 months and have blank pages for immigration stamps.
– If you wish to stay longer than 30 days, you can apply for a tourist visa valid for 3 months, though you can only stay for a maximum of 60 days. With a Social visa, you can stay up to 6 months by extending your visa up to 4 times. Additionally, you will need to provide the following documents:

At the end of your trip, you will need to present the declaration form along with your passport. The staff will stamp it and return it to you.
