Moc Mountain Tourism Area is located at an altitude of over 1000 meters above sea level. Situated in Moc Chau Farm, it stands as one of the most captivating tourist spots in Son La, offering a picturesque blend of mountains and water.
When visiting the Moc Mountain Tourism Area, make sure to explore its diverse and unique ecosystem. Experience the thrill of climbing the stairs to the peak while enjoying the cool, refreshing air. Many beautiful flowers, such as wild orchids and five-colored flowers, line the paths, perfect for taking photos. Additionally, the ascent is adorned with unique architectural features like a giant lotus flower hand made of stone, a wooden boat among the clouds, and a butterfly garden. These will certainly provide plenty of opportunities for stunning photo shoots.


2. Pha Luong Peak
Pha Luong Peak, also known as Bờ Lung (which means 'big mountain' in Thai), is located in Long Sap commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province, near the Vietnam-Laos border, about 40 km from the town center. It is considered one of the 19 beautiful, untouched tourist spots in the Northwest, a must-visit destination for those looking to capture breathtaking photos.
The beauty of Pha Luong can be appreciated in every season, though it is best to avoid rainy days due to slippery conditions. The ideal time to fully enjoy the stunning views of Pha Luong is early in the morning, when the clouds form and create the perfect atmosphere for taking unforgettable photos. Pha Luong Peak is often referred to as the 'roof of Moc Chau,' standing at over 2000 meters above sea level. This location attracts adventurous travelers, offering a challenging climb. Although the ascent can be tough, reaching the summit will reward you with awe-inspiring scenery.

3. Ban Ang Pine Forest
Ban Ang Pine Forest is located in Dong Sang commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province, just 2 km from the center of Moc Chau town on National Road 43. This area is often referred to as the 'Da Lat of the North' due to its cool climate throughout the year and the endless pine hills surrounding the beautiful Moc Chau mountains. With its refreshing, comfortable weather, Ban Ang Pine Forest is an ideal spot to capture deep and impressive photos amidst the vast pine woods.
The entrance fee to Ban Ang Pine Forest is 60,000 VND per person per visit. Children under 1 meter tall can enter for free.
Additionally, the Ban Ang Pine Forest tourist area offers bicycle rentals for self-exploration at a rate of 50,000 VND per bike.
One of the highlights of this location is the dedicated camping area, where visitors can bring their own food and drinks, as long as they clean up after leaving. Trash bins are placed throughout the area and are designed to blend in with the surroundings, preserving the beauty of the forest. At night, the camping area is illuminated with lights, creating a romantic, sparkling atmosphere like scenes from a Korean drama.


4. Dai Yem Waterfall
Dai Yem Waterfall, also known as Vat Waterfall or Nang Waterfall, is located about 5 km from the center of Moc Chau district, following National Road 43 towards the Long Sap border gate, in Vat village, Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province. The waterfall stands at a height of approximately 100 meters, split into two branches, with one having 9 tiers and the other 3. The two waterfalls are separated by about 200 meters.
The scenic area of Dai Yem Waterfall is a beautiful blend of the Bó Co Lằm and Bó Ta Cháu streams, situated in a majestic natural setting, full of wonders tied to a love story and particularly representing the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos in the border area of the Northwest.
Currently, Dai Yem Waterfall in Moc Chau is being developed for tourism. The entrance fee to the tourist area is 100,000 VND per person, and free for children under 1.2 meters tall.

5. Strawberry Farm
One of the most memorable experiences for visitors is undoubtedly the opportunity to visit the Moc Chau strawberry farms, where you can enjoy the sweet, delicious taste of strawberries from Japan, France, or New Zealand. No need to travel all the way to Da Lat – Moc Chau has its own lush green strawberry fields, with some farms offering free tours and allowing visitors to pick ripe strawberries by hand.
Currently, there are many strawberry farms in Moc Chau welcoming visitors to come and directly experience strawberry picking in the fields. The most prominent among them is Chimi Farm, the first farm in Moc Chau to allow visitors to pick strawberries themselves. It is also home to one of the most advanced and modern strawberry farming industries in the North.

6. Heart-Shaped Tea Hill
When visiting Moc Chau, you can't miss this romantic destination: the Heart-Shaped Tea Hill in Moc Chau, also known as the Heart-Shaped Tea Hill of Taiwan, as it is located within a joint agricultural project with Taiwan. This lush green tea hill is shaped like a heart, symbolizing love and new life. It is no surprise that it attracts many visitors who come to admire the view and take beautiful photos.
Getting to the Heart-Shaped Tea Hill in Moc Chau is not difficult, but it is best to avoid visiting between January and March. During this time, the new tea season begins, and the tea plants start sprouting after the spring rains, which may not provide the best experience or photo opportunities.

7. Oolong Tea Hill
Oolong Tea Hill, also known as Tan Lap Tea Hill, is home to one of the largest tea plantations in Moc Chau. The best time to snap those "like-worthy" pictures is during the early morning or at dusk, when a mystical mist envelopes the endless rows of lush, green tea bushes, creating an incredibly enchanting scene.
The tea season lasts nearly all year, except for January, February, and March, when the tea is pruned in preparation for the new crop. To truly experience the breathtaking beauty of the fields, it is best to visit during the peak growing season. The entire hill is vast, open, and spacious, providing plenty of room to find the perfect background for a photo op that will surely earn you thousands of likes.

8. Hua Tat Pine Forest
The pine forests of Moc Chau boast an untouched, alluring beauty. Strolling through these towering pine trees is a romantic, peaceful, and poetic experience, and you truly have to be there to appreciate the grandness of this stunning plateau. While the Bản Áng Pine Forest is a popular destination for families, with its park, homestays, and restaurants, Hua Tat Pine Forest has become a favorite for adventure seekers.
Hundreds of tall pine trees rise up like a natural wall, their branches forming a canopy overhead. When the sun shines, the pine hill becomes warm and picturesque. The sound of birds chirping as they hop from branch to branch, the gentle wind rustling through the pine needles, and the quiet rustling of leaves fill the air. The sunlight brings a fresh melody to the forest, allowing visitors to embrace the tranquility and immerse themselves in the beauty of the northwestern mountains.
Recently gaining popularity, this forest attracts those who appreciate the rustic, raw charm of nature. Reaching the summit requires a bit of effort, as visitors must trek through several pine groves before reaching the top. The sense of accomplishment at the summit is matched only by the breathtaking, romantic view that not many places can offer.

9. Pa Phach Village
Pa Phach Village is a small settlement of the H'mong people, nestled in the beautiful Moc Chau plateau in Dong Sang commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province. Surrounded by mountains and hills, Pa Phach transforms every spring, donning a vibrant, colorful coat. It is also affectionately known by visitors as the 'paradise of flowers.' Pa Phach is famous for its vast fields of white mustard flowers and blooming plum forests.
Each season in Pa Phach brings its own unique charm. If you visit in the fall, you'll be greeted by fields of bright yellow wild sunflowers basking in the warm sunlight. Winter brings the season of white mustard flowers, which, although not as bright as the sunflowers, blanket the hillsides and line both sides of the roads, offering a peaceful, rustic beauty typical of the highlands. When spring arrives, Pa Phach is adorned with the colorful blossoms of white plum flowers and wild peach trees.


10. Loong Luong Village
Loong Luong Village is located along National Highway 6, characterized by high mountain slopes on one side and relatively flat, small valleys on the other. There are narrow roads branching off from the main highway that pass through the village, allowing visitors to enter from one side, wander through the village, observe the local life and scenery, and exit from the opposite end.
This village is home to the H'mong people, offering a glimpse into their rich culture and simple, humble way of life. It embodies the peaceful existence typical of the highland rural areas in the northwest, where women in vibrant red ethnic dresses can be seen carrying bundles of firewood, and traditional homes stand under plum or apricot trees. The children, with their innocent gazes, engage in timeless childhood games such as 'throwing pao,' 'playing tu lu,' and 'football,' evoking a sense of nostalgia from an era long past.

11. Nà Ka Plum Valley
Mộc Châu is not only known for its vast green tea hills or pristine white mustard fields, but it is also home to stunning natural scenery, particularly the plum forests in the Nà Ka Plum Valley, which captivate all who visit.
From mid-January to the end of February, the view from the top of the pass reveals a valley blanketed in white plum blossoms, looking like a painting come to life. If you visit Nà Ka from April to May, you’ll experience the season of ripe plums, where you can pick and savor the sweet, ripe fruit straight from the tree. Visitors often wear traditional vibrant costumes, taking breaks at small huts or wooden shacks to rest, take photos, and inhale the fresh, fragrant air of the Mộc Châu mountains.

12. Bat Cave
Bat Cave, also known as Sơn Mộc Hương Cave, is a beautiful site located in the northeastern part of the town of Mộc Châu. According to legend, long ago, when dragons and phoenixes ruled the skies, a dragon, while traveling through the land, was captivated by the natural beauty and temperate climate of the area and decided to settle there. Before the dragon transformed, it left behind seven magical pearls that formed seven mountains as a gift to the land that had sustained it. The dragon's mouth faced south, looking down upon the 'seven dragon pearls,' which is now the site of Bat Cave.
Bat Cave is a typical limestone karst cave located about 100 meters above the ground. It covers an area of approximately 6,915 square meters, with a length of 80 meters, a height of 20 meters, and a width of 25 meters. The cave consists of three large chambers separated by walls of stalactites, and its flat floor creates a spacious and airy environment. The first impression upon entering the cave is a mesmerizing display of colors created by the cave’s structure, with beams of natural light filtering through gaps in the high ceiling, reflecting off countless stalactites to form a breathtaking scene. This romantic and almost divine beauty has made Bat Cave a popular destination for tourists both locally and internationally.

13. Chiềng Khoa Waterfall (Fairy Waterfall)
Chiềng Khoa Waterfall, also known as Cloud Waterfall, Seven-Tier Waterfall, or Fairy Waterfall, is closely linked to the legend of the Hoa Ban Xên Bản – Xên Mường festival celebrated by the local people. The waterfall is still relatively undeveloped in terms of tourism, which helps it retain its natural and pristine beauty. Upon visiting, you will be treated to the sight of a cascade of white clouds swirling around the deep ravine, with each tier of the waterfall connecting seamlessly to the next. The waterfall stretches out, foaming in white torrents, creating a majestic and mystical atmosphere with a veil of mist that enchants the viewer.
Chiềng Khoa Waterfall has a total of seven tiers, each standing between 7 and 10 meters high. Beneath each tier, there are spacious pools formed, with clear turquoise waters that are perfect for swimming and capturing stunning photographs. The pristine nature of the surroundings, along with the striking contrast of the emerald waters and the foamy white of the falls, has led people to nickname this place the "Tuyệt Tình Cốc" (Forbidden Love Valley) of Mộc Châu.


14. Love Glass Bridge
Love Glass Bridge spans 100 meters in length, suspended 20 meters above the ground. Located in the Dải Yếm Waterfall tourism area (in Mường Sang commune, Mộc Châu), this bridge is built with the most advanced modern technology – 5D tempered glass, equipped with numerous touch-sensitive systems that create 30 distinct effects. The glass bridge stretches over a stream in Mường Sang commune. From the bridge, visitors will find themselves 20 meters above the ground, which can evoke a sense of nervous excitement as they walk on the transparent surface of the 5D glass bridge.
Throughout the Love Glass Bridge, vibrant shades of yellow and red stand out against the vast expanse of greenery. A prominent feature of the bridge is the pair of intertwined hearts at either end, symbolizing the enduring love between a man and a woman, inseparable and eternal. The support structure of the glass bridge is a lotus flower in full bloom, spanning 24 square meters. If you look closely, you'll notice that the bridge's pillars are decorated with 54,000 sparkling multi-colored glass beads, representing the unity of the 54 ethnic groups across Vietnam.

15. Ngũ Động Bản Ôn
Ngũ Động is a complex of five limestone caves hidden deep within a mountain. Discovered by the people of Mộc Châu after the historic flood of 2006 in Bản Ôn, these stunning stalactite caves represent the five elements: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth, each with its own breathtaking form shaped by nature over thousands of years.
Ngũ Động Bản Ôn retains its pristine and undeveloped state, not yet touched by tourism, which makes the journey to the caves quite challenging and rugged. However, the journey will reward you with spectacular natural views along the way that will take your breath away.
