Vam Sat Ecotourism Area is located in Ly Nhon Commune, Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City. It is a subsidiary of Phu Tho Tourist Company (Phuthotourist). The area is situated about 40 kilometers from Binh Khanh ferry. By preserving the natural ecosystem for tourism development, Vam Sat has been recognized as one of the two sustainable ecotourism areas in Vietnam, awarded the title by the World Tourism Organization (WTO) in 2003. In 2014, Vam Sat Ecotourism Area was once again listed among the '100 Most Interesting Things in Ho Chi Minh City'.

Here, there are no skyscrapers, only vast mangrove forests. A natural environment that produces oxygen for the entire city and is recognized as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO since 2000.
