Incheon Airport consists of two passenger terminals: Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2).

Terminal 1

Incheon Airport's Terminal 1 is the largest airport terminal in South Korea, featuring a modern and state-of-the-art aviation and non-aviation system.

The structure of Terminal 1 consists of five floors and one satellite terminal:

- Basement Level 1: This level serves as the waiting area for passengers taking the AREX train to the city center. It also has restaurants, convenience stores, currency exchange counters, and more.

- Level 1: This is the arrival hall, where passengers can go through immigration checks and automated procedures. It also connects to the airport's transportation center, offering options like buses and taxis to the city center of Seoul.

- Level 2: The offices of various airlines, including S7 Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Eva Air, Air China, and more.

- Level 3: This is the departure hall, which features currency exchange counters, tax refund booths, information desks, convenience stores, duty-free shops, and a cultural experience center showcasing Korean culture.

- Concourse (Waiting area): The satellite terminal of Terminal 1 is connected to Level 3 via two parallel underground passageways, each 870 meters long. This area has 30 gates and 6 lounges for passengers flying with airlines such as Asiana Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, and China Eastern Airlines.

- Level 4: This area houses the premium airline lounges. Additionally, there are restaurants, cafes, duty-free shops, and a hotel for transit passengers.

Terminal 2

Terminal 2 at Incheon International Airport features a design that reflects traditional Korean style. The terminal is equipped with an automated boarding system for the convenience of passengers. Terminal 2 has a capacity to serve approximately 18 million passengers annually.

Terminal 2 consists of 5 floors and 1 basement level:

- Basement Level 1: This level serves as the waiting area for passengers taking the AREX train to the city center or those looking to rent a car. There are also restaurants, currency exchange counters, a capsule hotel, convenience stores, and more.

- Level 1: The arrival area, which offers various services such as currency exchange, convenience stores, flower shops, mobile Wi-Fi rental, and more. This is also where you can find taxis and buses to travel to the city center of Seoul.

- Level 2: The administrative center of the terminal.

- Level 3: The departure hall, featuring facilities for quick and automated check-in. There are also information counters, tax refund shopping stores, travel agencies, bookstores, pharmacies, and more.

- Level 4: This level houses restaurants, airline offices, lounges, a transit hotel, duty-free shops, and more.

- Level 5: The commercial hall, featuring a duty-free area. It also serves as the location for the observation deck where visitors can enjoy the experience.

Getting Between Terminals at Incheon Airport

Passengers can travel between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 via the Airport Express train, with a fare of approximately 600 Won. Tickets can be purchased at the AREX stations at both terminals.

Alternatively, passengers can take the free Airport Shuttle Buses, which depart every 5 minutes. The total journey time is about 15 to 20 minutes. Stops are: at Terminal 1: Gate 8, Level 3; at Terminal 2: Between Gate 4 and Gate 5, Level 3.

To travel between Terminal 1 and Concourse A, passengers can use the underground passageways via the Intra Airport Transit (IATs) system, which departs from Level B1.

Airport Railroad Express (AREX)

- Terminal 1: First floor, A-F (Gates 1-14)
- Terminal 2: First floor, Gates 1-6. Basement level B1 (Traffic Center).

Incheon Airport operates 24/7, meaning you can easily spend the night there if needed.

There are plenty of sleeping spaces and great amenities at the airport. Both the airside (boarding area) and landside feature 24-hour dining options, shopping facilities, and entertainment choices. Passengers just need to bring their own pillow and blanket if planning to sleep overnight at the airport.

- Incheon Airport Transit Hotel (Terminal 1): Located at Terminal 1, in the departure area on the 4th floor, opposite Gate 43 (East Wing) and Gate 11 (West Wing). This hotel is exclusively for international transit passengers. Rooms are available from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Incheon Airport Transit Hotel (Terminal 2): Located at Terminal 2, in the departure area, near Gate 252. This hotel is also only for international transit passengers. Rooms are available from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Hotel Hu Incheon Airport: Just 3 minutes from the airport by car, with a free shuttle service available from 5:30 PM to 12:30 AM, running every 10-15 minutes. Pickup and drop-off are at the 3rd floor of the International Terminal (Exit 3 or 12). Rooms are available from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Incheon Airport offers Wi-Fi throughout the entire airport. However, there is no update on whether it is free of charge or not.
