- The negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate must be obtained within 48 hours before the departure date.
Example: For flights to South Korea at 7:00 PM on January 22, 2022, documents checked after 00:00 AM on January 20, 2022, will be accepted.

The South Korean government is implementing strict entry policies for foreign travelers
- Exemptions: Children under 6 years old traveling with a guardian who has a negative COVID-19 PCR certificate, individuals with a 'Quarantine Exemption Certificate' for humanitarian reasons or foreign business trips, South Korean citizens traveling by speedboat from Singapore (with a South Korean passport and crew member book), and transit passengers.
- COVID-19 Testing Methods: Tests based on gene amplification detection (NAATs, PCR, LAMP, TMA, SDA, NEAR, etc.)
- Language: Korean or English
- If the testing method is presented in Korean or English, it is considered a valid negative COVID-19 PCR certificate even if the certificate is in another language.
- If the testing method is also written in other languages, a notarized translation must be submitted (It must be confirmed by the embassy or a government authority).

- Starting from December 20, 2021, passengers from Singapore wishing to be exempt from quarantine under the VTL agreement must present a valid COVID-19 PCR negative certificate tested within 48 hours before departure (Only applicable to those with bookings before December 29, 2021, or those starting from January 21, 2022).
Passengers confirmed positive without submitting a negative PCR certificate will be fined (Effective from May 10, 2021).
- Fine: 2,000,000 KRW
- Subject: Passengers who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 at quarantine stations among Korean nationals who have either failed to submit a negative PCR confirmation or submitted one that does not meet the required standards.
- Exemption: Under 14 years of age, etc.
All passengers from abroad, regardless of nationality or vaccination status, will be subjected to a 10-day quarantine.
- Duration: From 00:00 on December 3, 2021, to 24:00 on February 3, 2022, Korea Standard Time.
- Reason: To prevent the spread of the Omicron variant of the virus.
- Exemption: For passengers granted quarantine exemption starting from December 2, 2021 (Enhanced issuance criteria).
