Fly easily from Ho Chi Minh City to Brisbane with VietjetAir's direct flight service
Coinciding with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's official visit to Vietnam and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Australia, VietjetAir has officially announced the launch of its Ho Chi Minh City – Brisbane route, effective from June 16, 2023, with two round-trip flights each week using the modern and large A330 aircraft. This initiative aims to boost trade between Vietnam and Brisbane, Queensland, and Australia at large, and further enhance bilateral relations in the future.
VietjetAir's flights will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 10:50 AM (local time) and land in Brisbane at 9:55 PM (local time). On the return journey, flights will leave Brisbane Airport at 11:30 PM (local time) and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 5:10 AM the following day (local time).
After Melbourne and Sydney, Brisbane is the third Australian city with a direct flight connection from VietjetAir. This is also the first-ever direct route between Vietnam and Brisbane, as well as the Queensland state.
The new flight route will reduce travel time, making it more convenient for locals and tourists to fly between Ho Chi Minh City, the economic and cultural hub of Vietnam, and Brisbane, the third-largest city in Australia, often referred to as the 'New York of the Land Down Under.'
Brisbane's weather is incredibly pleasant, which makes outdoor activities and services highly popular. You can enjoy dining under the trees, beneath a starry sky, or at riverside restaurants, among other options.
