VietjetAir will begin operating the Phu Quoc - Bangkok route starting on October 12, 2022
VietjetAir officially launches a direct flight route connecting Phu Quoc (Kien Giang) in Vietnam with Bangkok, Thailand, starting from October 12, 2022.
The Phu Quoc – Bangkok route (Suvarnabhumi Airport) will operate 4 times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a flight duration of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. To celebrate this new route, Vietjet is offering attractive ticket prices starting from 499,000 VND one-way for the Bangkok – Phu Quoc route, available for booking from August 25 to August 31, 2022, on VietjetAir’s official website and authorized agents.
A representative from VietjetAir expressed excitement about connecting Thailand with the beautiful and famous island of Phu Quoc in Vietnam, providing both locals and tourists with more convenient and affordable travel options. Vietjet’s new international routes will continue to meet the growing travel demand in the region and help boost international tourism, trade, and the aviation industry’s recovery.
Currently, VietjetAir holds the top position for connecting Vietnam with Thailand, operating routes between Bangkok and Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City/Da Nang, as well as the only direct flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Phuket. Starting from September 1, 2022, VietjetAir will also resume the Ho Chi Minh City – Chiang Mai route, catering to both tourism and pilgrimage travelers during the year-end season.
