Starting from early June 2023, when booking Eco and Deluxe tickets for both domestic and international flights, each passenger (except infants under 2 years old) is allowed to carry one (01) piece of hand luggage that meets the following requirements:
- Maximum weight: 7kg
- Maximum dimensions: 56cm x 36cm x 26cm
- Carry-on luggage must be labeled with VietjetAir’s carry-on tags. Passengers can request assistance from VietjetAir staff to properly tag their carry-on items at the check-in counter, following the airline’s regulations. Any carry-on luggage without the designated “carry-on tag” will not be permitted on board.
- Carry-on bags brought onto the aircraft must comply with VietjetAir’s guidelines and must fit either under the seat in front of you or in the overhead compartment. Any luggage deemed by VietjetAir to exceed the allowed weight or size limits will not be allowed on the plane.
- VietjetAir reserves the right to recheck the weight and dimensions of your carry-on luggage at the departure gate. If your carry-on does not meet the requirements, you will be required to pay a fee to check it in, or it may be refused for transport.
- Fees for checking in luggage will be higher at the check-in area and departure gate. These fees are charged in the local currency of the destination country. To save on costs, ensure you purchase additional baggage allowance in advance.
