According to an official announcement from VietjetAir, the airline is offering Sky Care travel insurance for all international flights between Vietnam and destinations including Kazakhstan, Australia (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne), India (Kochi, New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad), South Korea (Seoul, Busan, Daegu), Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya), Hong Kong, Taiwan (China), Indonesia (Jakarta, Bali), Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand...
As part of this offer, passengers will receive comprehensive insurance coverage throughout their entire journey, with benefits including reimbursement for medical expenses due to accidents or illness (including Covid-19), assistance for flight-related disruptions (delayed flights, late luggage, lost or damaged items, lost travel documents), and 24/7 global medical and travel support services. The total value of the insurance benefits is up to 100 million VND.
Simply purchase a ticket and complete any international flight, and you will automatically receive the insurance coverage. This applies to all ticket classes, including Eco, Deluxe, SkyBoss, and Business.
Along with launching several new international routes this summer, such as Kochi (India) and Jakarta (Indonesia), VietjetAir’s move to offer Sky Care insurance aims to enhance the wonderful experience on international journeys across the globe, as stated by a representative from VietjetAir.
Important Information About VietjetAir's Sky Care Insurance
- Who is eligible for the insurance (Insured person):
+ Purchase and use VietjetAir tickets for all international flights, regardless of ticket type or nationality.
+ Applicable for Eco, Deluxe, and SkyBoss/SkyBoss Business ticket classes.
+ Available for passengers aged 2 and above. For travelers between 14 days and under 2 years old, traveling with an adult over 18, they will be covered for personal accident and medical expenses arising from accidents and illness while traveling (including Covid-19).
+ Passengers who meet the regulations and the terms of transportation set by VietJet and are approved for travel within the Insurance Coverage Period.
- The insurance is valid for the duration corresponding to the estimated departure time of the flight (the estimated departure time being determined after the insured person completes the check-in process).
- The insurance coverage ends three (3) days after the insured person completes the immigration process in the destination country.
