Starting from December 2, 2023, VietjetAir will officially launch a new domestic flight route connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Dien Bien.
VietjetAir officially announced that it will operate the Ho Chi Minh City - Dien Bien route with a frequency of three round-trip flights per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The outbound flight departs from Ho Chi Minh City at 7:10 AM, arriving in Dien Bien at 9:10 AM. The return flight departs from Dien Bien at 9:45 AM and lands in Ho Chi Minh City at 12:00 PM.
After six months of closure for upgrades and expansions, Dien Bien Airport is expected to reopen on December 2, 2023. To celebrate this event, VietjetAir has begun selling tickets for the direct flight route. With a travel time of just two hours, both tourists and locals can easily connect between the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City and Dien Bien - the gateway to the Northwest, known for its majestic mountains and historical landmarks such as the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum, Muong Thanh Field, and Pa Khoang Lake.
