According to official information from VietjetAir, starting from December 2023, the airline will increase its frequency to 34 flights per week on the routes it currently operates between Vietnam and Australia. Specifically:
There will be 7 round-trip flights per week on the Ho Chi Minh City – Sydney route, 7 round-trip flights per week on the Ho Chi Minh City – Melbourne route, and the Ho Chi Minh City – Brisbane route will be increased to 3 flights per week.
As a result, the Ho Chi Minh City – Sydney route will operate daily flights starting December 5, 2023, with 7 round-trips per week. The flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney will depart at 19:05, arriving at 08:05 the next day (local time). The return flight from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City will take off at 11:15 and land at 16:15 (local time).
From December 2023 onwards, VietjetAir will increase its flight frequency to 34 weekly flights on routes between Vietnam and Australia that the airline currently operates.
Starting December 1, 2023, direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne will be offered daily, with 7 flights per week. The flight from Ho Chi Minh City departs at 10:50 PM and arrives at 11:35 PM local time. The return flight from Melbourne departs at 1:30 AM and lands at 6:20 AM local time in Ho Chi Minh City.
For the Ho Chi Minh City to Brisbane route, VietjetAir will increase its service to 3 round-trip flights per week starting December 6, 2023. Flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Brisbane will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, departing at 10:55 PM and arriving at 10:10 PM local time. The return flight from Brisbane to Ho Chi Minh City departs at 11:40 PM and arrives at 5:05 AM the next day local time.
