Steps to Upgrade via Vietnam Airlines Website
- Step 1: Passengers visit the Vietnam Airlines website, select the Booking Management section, and retrieve the Booking Code (PNR).
- Step 2: On the Booking Management page, passengers select the Upgrade Flight option.
- Step 3: Passengers choose the desired service class for the upgrade.
- Step 4: The system displays the new flight information and the payment amount. Passengers review the upgrade costs and make the payment as directed by the system.
- Step 5: The system will show the service confirmation details and send a confirmation email along with the e-ticket to the registered address.
Which channels can passengers use to upgrade?
Passengers who have purchased Flexible Economy, Standard Economy, or Premium Economy tickets with Vietnam Airlines can upgrade their service through one of the following channels:
- Website or Mobile App;
- Vietnam Airlines Ticket Offices / Branch Offices both domestically and internationally;
- Vietnam Airlines agents in the Vietnamese market;
- Last-minute ticket counters at domestic and international airports.
- Passengers can purchase the upgrade service within 24 hours before the flight. For routes such as Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City/Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang/Phu Quoc/Cam Ranh, passengers can purchase the upgrade immediately after ticket issuance.
