Starting from November 1, 2023, Vietnam Airlines officially launched the digitalization of its meal and drink menus on both domestic and international flights, gradually replacing the traditional paper menus.
From now on, the menu for each flight will be available on the Vietnam Airlines website and mobile app. Seven days before departure, Vietnam Airlines' system will send an invitation to view the menu via email and text message, making it easy for passengers to access and review. Additionally, passengers can still check the menu before takeoff by scanning the QR code in the Heritage magazine.

Before the implementation of digital transformation for the meal and drink menus, Vietnam Airlines printed menus for international flights every two months and for domestic flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City every month. Once the cycle ended, the old menus would be discarded and replaced with new ones. It is estimated that stopping the provision of paper menus for flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City alone could save up to 2.5 tons of paper annually.
