Vietnam Airlines announced that starting from August 16, 2022, it will offer online check-in services for passengers departing from Phu Bai Airport (Hue).
With the launch of online check-in services at Phu Bai Airport (Hue), Vietnam Airlines now provides this service at 17 domestic airports and 30 international airports. The airline is also working towards expanding this convenient service to all airports it operates flights to. This move is part of Vietnam Airlines' efforts to become a digital airline.
Previously, Vietnam's national airline had rolled out online check-in services for passengers departing from several domestic airports, including: Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Da Nang, Cam Ranh, Van Don, Cat Bi, Vinh, Chu Lai, Con Dao, Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Dien Bien, Can Tho, Tho Xuan, Pleiku, and Phu Cat airports.
When flying with Vietnam Airlines, you can save time by checking in online through the website www.vietnamairlines.com or the Vietnam Airlines mobile app. Online check-in is available from 24 hours up to 45 minutes before the scheduled departure for domestic flights and from 24 hours up to 60 minutes for international flights.
Once the online check-in process is complete, passengers will receive their “Online Boarding Pass” on their electronic devices or they can print the pass. Then, they can proceed directly to the security checkpoint and the boarding gate without needing to visit the airline’s check-in counter. For passengers with checked luggage, they can drop off their bags at designated counters at the airport.
Vietnam Airlines' online check-in service ensures a smooth, seamless, and faster journey with just a few simple steps. It also helps minimize long queues and crowded areas, ensuring a safer travel experience for all passengers.
