To best accommodate the travel needs of the public during the upcoming Lunar New Year, Vietnam Airlines Group (which includes Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, and VASCO) began planning and opening sales for over 3 million seats across its domestic and international networks starting from early August 2024. These flights will operate from January 25, 2024, to February 24, 2024 (from the 15th day of the 12th lunar month of the year of Quy Mao to the 15th day of the 1st lunar month of the year of Giap Thin).
With the goal of providing festive flights that reunite families, Vietnam Airlines Group has introduced a flexible pricing range with several price points to suit the different budgets of passengers.
As of now, a significant number of Lunar New Year 2024 tickets have already been sold, especially for key routes connecting Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City with cities such as Hai Phong, Vinh, and Thanh Hoa. The demand has led to a shortage of economy class tickets. In response, Vietnam Airlines has increased flight frequencies to better meet the travel demand of the community.
To purchase tickets at discounted rates, passengers should plan their travel in advance, buy tickets early, and choose flight times and dates carefully.
