To safeguard the rights of female members during this special period, Lotusmiles has added a policy for female members who are expecting a child as follows:
- Retaining the membership status for female members during childbirth
If the mother of the baby holds a Platinum, Gold, or Titan membership and is downgraded within one year from the baby's birth date, the membership will be extended for an additional 12 months, rounding to the last day of the 12th month.
- Extension of bonus miles for female members during childbirth
Miles that expire within one year from the baby's birth date will be extended for an additional 12 months, rounding to the last day of the 12th month. Requests for mileage extension must be submitted to the Lotusmiles Center before the miles expire.
