Starting June 17, Vietnam Airlines will operate direct flights to Manila, the capital of the Philippines, from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Tickets will be available for purchase from April 8.

Vietnam Airlines will officially inaugurate its direct route to Manila on June 17. The airline will operate flights between Hanoi and Manila three times a week, while the Ho Chi Minh City to Manila route will have four weekly flights. All flights will be operated using modern wide-body aircraft.

Vietnam's national carrier is the first airline to establish a direct route to Manila. This new route plays a crucial role in Vietnam Airlines' strategy to expand its international flight network, as it connects Manila with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, two of Southeast Asia's leading economic hubs.

The launch of this new route by Vietnam Airlines also strengthens the relationship between Vietnam and the Philippines. The airline is offering promotional fares starting at $141 (approximately million VND) for tickets purchased between April 8 and June 23. Additionally, passengers booking economy flexible, standard, or saver fares will receive one extra piece of complimentary baggage. This offer is valid for tickets purchased from April 8 to August 17, 2024.
