Citizens of Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic will enjoy visa-free travel to Vietnam from March 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, under the 2025 tourism development stimulus program.
Visa Exemption for Citizens of Three Countries
As part of the 2025 tourism development stimulus program issued by the government, citizens of Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic will be exempt from visas when traveling to Vietnam. This program runs from March 1 to December 31, 2025. Accordingly, citizens of these three countries can enter Vietnam without a visa, provided their visit is solely for tourism purposes.
Additionally, tourists participating in programs organized by Vietnamese international travel companies are allowed a 45-day stay. This applies regardless of passport type, as long as all entry requirements under Vietnamese law are met. This new initiative by the government aims to boost tourism and attract visitors from potential markets to Vietnam.

E-Visa Issuance for Citizens of Eligible Countries
Starting from August 15, 2023, Vietnam will issue e-visas to citizens of all countries and territories. This includes 13 airports where foreigners can enter and exit using e-visas, such as Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Da Nang, Cam Ranh, Can Tho, Cat Bi, and Phu Bai. Additionally, Phu Quoc, Tho Xuan, Van Don, Dong Hoi, Lien Khuong, and Phu Cat are also included.
E-visas are applicable at 16 land border crossings, including Mong Cai (Quang Ninh), Tay Trang (Dien Bien), Lao Cai, Na Meo (Thanh Hoa), Huu Nghi (Lang Son), Cau Treo (Ha Tinh), Cha Lo (Quang Binh), Nam Can (Nghe An), Bo Y (Kon Tum), La Lay and Lao Bao (Quang Tri), Tinh Bien and Vinh Xuong (An Giang), Ha Tien (Kien Giang), Moc Bai and Xa Mat (Tay Ninh).

On the same day, the government also decided to extend the temporary stay period from 15 to 45 days for citizens of 13 countries granted unilateral visa exemption by Vietnam. These countries include France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Belarus. Citizens of these nations can stay in Vietnam for 45 days, regardless of their entry purpose.
