In 2022, the festival will showcase its brightest and most impressive highlights, welcoming visitors from around the globe and marking the beginning of the festival season in Australia post-pandemic. Over 50 light art installations and 3D light projections will light up the city of Sydney, along with more than 100 diverse and exciting music events. Visitors will be treated to mesmerizing 3D light art, thrilling performances, and the chance to meet world-renowned artists coming together for this spectacular event.

This year, for the first time ever, the Light Walk will connect 47 art installations, stretching from the Sydney Opera House to Central Station.
