BICYCLES AND SPORTS EQUIPMENT
Bicycles and sports equipment include: Surfboards, kitesurfing equipment, windsurfing sails, ski/water ski equipment, diving gear, gliders, fishing gear, etc.
- Up to 23kg/50lb and total dimensions not exceeding 203cm/80in:
+ Included in the standard free baggage allowance
+ Prepaid baggage rates apply / additional baggage charges will be assessed for excess items
+ No fees for exceeding the size limit
- Above 23kg/50lb and/or total dimensions exceeding 203cm/80in:
+ Included in the free baggage allowance
+ Prepaid baggage fees / chargeable baggage fees / oversized baggage fees are applied in cases where items exceed the allowed quantity, size, or weight limits.
GOLF SET
Free Golf Set allowance: Weight up to 23kg/50lb (no size limitation):
Guests are entitled to a complimentary set of golf clubs in the following situations:
Ticket holders with a reservation from class E (Economy Lite) or higher.
Guests who hold a Titanium, Gold, or Platinum card.
- Weight exceeding 23kg/50lb: Additional charges for exceeding weight.
Golf bag charge: Weight up to 23kg/50lb and total dimensions of 3 sides up to 203cm/80in
- Applies to prepaid baggage rates/charges if exceeding the baggage limit.
- No additional charges for exceeding size limitations.

LUGGAGE PLACED ON PASSENGER SEATS
At 100% of the applicable adult fare, plus fuel surcharge for each additional seat purchased, corresponding to the booking class at the time of service booking.

- Region A: Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
- Area B: China, South Korea, Japan, and other Asian countries (excluding Area A and Australia).
- Area C: France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia, Australia, countries in the Americas, and other nations from Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
- The special baggage fee policy applies only to flights operated by Vietnam Airlines.
- In cases where the journey includes a leg operated by another airline, the customer must obtain approval for special baggage transportation on that airline's segment.
- For journeys between the Americas and other destinations, the special baggage fee policy only applies to the portion of the trip operated by Vietnam Airlines; the remaining segments follow the policy of the operating airline.
- Passengers can contact the ticket office, agent, or customer service center of Vietnam Airlines for more information on the special baggage policy.
