During the April 30th – May 1st holiday, while domestic routes remain widely popular, some travelers are more inclined toward international routes. To cater to this demand, Bamboo Airways strategically inaugurated several international flights coinciding with the Southern Liberation and International Labor Day holiday. Specifically, at the end of April and the start of May, Bamboo Airways officially launched four international routes connecting to Melbourne (Australia), Bangkok (Thailand), and Singapore.
During the 30th April - 1st May holiday, Bamboo Airways will introduce four new international routes.
The Hanoi – Melbourne route
Bamboo Airways announced that it will begin operations on the Hanoi – Melbourne route starting from 27th April 2022, with a frequency of one round-trip flight every Wednesday.

Flight route Ho Chi Minh City – Bangkok
The flight route from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok will officially launch on April 28, 2022, with a frequency of three round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Flight Routes from Hanoi/ Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore
During this holiday period, Bamboo Airways officially launches two new flight routes to the Lion Island, departing from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The Hanoi-Singapore route will begin operations on May 4, 2022, with two round trips per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City-Singapore route will commence its first flight on April 29, 2022, operating three round trips per week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Additionally, to help passengers gather all the necessary information and ensure a smooth journey, Bamboo Airways has also provided the latest update on Singapore's entry regulations (as of April 1, 2022) as follows:
General Requirements
Passengers must complete the SG Arrival Card within 3 days before their arrival in Singapore, declaring their travel history and health information ahead of the journey. Additionally, passengers vaccinated outside of Singapore need to upload their electronic vaccination certificates. Those vaccinated in Singapore are exempt from submitting this certificate.
Passengers are required to submit their immigration declarations online, as the paper-based declaration form is no longer in use.
Testing and Vaccination Requirements
- Starting from April 1, 2022, Singapore has opened its borders to all passengers who have received full vaccination. Travelers no longer need to apply for the Vaccination Travel Pass (VTP) nor undergo any testing upon arrival in Singapore. The requirement to purchase Covid-19 insurance is only applicable to those who have not been fully vaccinated, with a minimum coverage of 30,000 SGD.
- As of April 26, 2022, all passengers who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, as well as children under 12 years of age, will not be required to undergo a Covid test before entering Singapore.
+ The vaccination certificate must be in English and include personal details such as full name, date of birth, or passport number.
The final vaccine dose must be administered at least 14 days prior to entering Singapore.
Passengers who have not been vaccinated or have not completed the full vaccine dosage must present a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test or Antigen Rapid Test (ART) conducted at an accredited medical facility. The test must be performed within 48 hours before departure for Singapore. Additionally, a 7-day Stay Home Notice (SHN) is required, along with proof of accommodation. RT-PCR tests are also mandatory when departing.
If passengers are unable to upload their digital vaccination certificate, they may carry a physical vaccination certificate when boarding and entering Singapore. The certificate must include the full name, date of birth or passport number, vaccination site, vaccine name, and vaccination date.
