Jessica Simpson released a statement revealing that she and her husband, Eric Johnson, are "living separately" due to a "painful situation" they are currently navigating.

After a decade-long marriage, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have parted ways.

The singer and former NFL player started their relationship in 2010 and married four years later. They are parents to three children: Maxwell 'Maxi' Drew, 12; Ace Knute, 11; and Birdie Mae, 5.

Jessica shared with People, "Eric and I have been living separately, working through a difficult phase in our marriage."

"Our children are our priority, and we're focusing on what's best for them. We're thankful for all the love and support we've received and ask for privacy as we navigate this as a family," she concluded.

Rumors about the couple have been circulating, as Jessica hadn't shared any posts about Eric since his birthday in 2023. In fact, both have been seen recently without their wedding rings.

In November, Jessica shared on Instagram that she was returning to music, writing, "This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve." A few days later, a source told People that they were living "separate lives."
