You may have noticed that discussions surrounding Meghan Markle can often be, well, a bit one-sided (the woman can’t even enjoy an avocado).

I’m referencing the 2020 comparison made by Mytour News, where Meghan’s headlines were compared to those of Kate Middleton, which you can revisit here.
So, what major mistake has Meghan made this time to upset the definitely-not-racist crowd? She’s... helped out with the California wildfires.

Considering Meghan’s roots in LA, it’s no surprise that the wildfires have deeply affected her. Along with Prince Harry, Meghan has leveraged the Archewell Foundation to make financial contributions toward disaster relief. They’ve also opened their Montecito home to those who have had to evacuate.

Meghan has also postponed the premiere of her Netflix series, 'With Love, Meghan,' due to the ongoing fires.
The couple also visited the Pasadena evacuation center, where Fox 11 Los Angeles captured them during an 'unexpected' live broadcast on Friday.

Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo commented on their visit, saying, 'It’s wonderful for these great individuals, with their kind hearts, to come out here and meet with first responders, as well as those affected. They truly lifted the spirits of the first responders.'

They also met José Andrés, the founder of World Central Kitchen, whom the Archewell Foundation has partnered with in the past. In 2018, Meghan similarly visited survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire in London.
Mayor Victor further said that the two did not come out for "publicity" and had in fact been there "anonymously" earlier in the day, adding, "No one knew they were serving food with masks."
