Some individuals are simply fortunate enough to be born with an overwhelming amount of genetic luck in their favor...

When Reddit user u/askredditiscool asked, "For those who've "won the genetic lottery", what are some of your standout qualities?" on r/AskReddit, I had to see what I might be missing out on:
1. "I'm not allergic to mosquito bites. They’ll bite me, and I’ll feel the tiny sting, but I never end up with those huge, itchy, swollen welts. Apparently, I taste bad enough to mosquitoes that they’ll go for anyone else in the area before choosing me."

2. "My teeth are nearly flawless. Every time I switch dentists, they’re always a little surprised at my first appointment. My husband can’t stand me for it."

3. "I'm in my late twenties and can still eat whatever I want without gaining a pound: steak, fried chicken, cheeseburgers — none of it sticks, and my cholesterol is extremely low (as confirmed by my doctor). I also seem to have inherited my family's love for alcohol. But aside from drinking champagne, I don’t get hangovers."

4. "I’ve got strong bones. At 72, I’ve fallen multiple times in recent years (thanks to low blood pressure), and I’ve never broken a bone in my life."
—u/Duegatti
5. "I’m a woman who doesn’t grow any leg hair. All my friends are super envious of this, haha."

6. "I’m double-jointed in both shoulders. I never need help reaching my back to scratch or scrub it in the shower. Honestly, I can’t think of a more practical use for being double-jointed, except maybe with your thumbs."

7. "I inherited the 'sleep button' gene from my grandfather. Whenever I want to fall asleep, I just... do it... within minutes. I’ve only had trouble falling asleep or waking up less than ten times in my entire life."

8. "I have five kids, and I'm now lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight (I'm petite, with curves in all the right places), and I have almost no stretch marks. People say I look at least 10 years younger than my real age."
"I think of myself as very average, and although I have to exercise regularly and eat healthy, it seems to show quick results for me. If that’s what a genetic lottery looks like, I’m definitely game for it."

9. "I can't seem to get a brain freeze no matter how hard I try. The only thing that happens is the roof of my mouth gets slightly annoyed from the cold, but there's no real pain."

10. "My siblings and I are certain we'll never lose our hair. My dad, who's almost 70, still has a full head of thick, dark hair with only a few silver strands, and his mustache is legendary!"
—u/Still-Contest-980
11. "I’m great at healing piercings—nobody does it like me. I mess around with them, swap out the jewelry too soon, sleep on them. They all heal at lightning speed, with no issues or bumps."

12. "I was one of those kids who got straight A's in high school without ever having to study. And no, all those stories about how that left me unprepared for college don’t apply to me. I graduated with a degree in electrical engineering and a minor in Chinese, barely studying—maybe cramming the night before if I was feeling anxious. Still finished with a 3.7 GPA."

And here's something that will surely make us all, the average folk, envious during these chilly winter months:
13. "I've never caught a cold or fallen ill a single time in my life. I didn’t realize this was remarkable until people started pointing it out. I once boasted about this fact at my workplace, unaware that I'd face consequences when it came to requesting leaves in the future."
