The wildfires in Los Angeles are still raging, threatening thousands of homes, and the death toll has now reached 16.

As Los Angeles remains the heart of the American entertainment industry, the sector has rallied to support those affected. Recently, SAG-AFTRA revealed it had pledged $1 million to assist members suffering from hardships due to the fires.

With the fires ongoing, several premieres and Hollywood events have been delayed or called off, and as reported by the Hollywood Reporter, the 2025 Grammys could be the next event to face postponement.

The event is scheduled for February 2, but multiple sources report that "discussions are underway to either delay the CBS show (and all related events) or shift the broadcast to a fundraiser."

The article also references a senior TV executive who believes it's "highly likely" the Grammys ceremony will be postponed due to the ongoing fires.

According to the New York Times, the Palisades fire, the largest of the ongoing blazes, has already consumed over 23,700 acres and is only 11% contained. The Eaton fire is also at just 27% containment.
