In the interview, Tyler shared his experience of getting engaged to his fiancée, model and entrepreneur Miracle Watts, and discussed the pressure he felt from fans to propose.

Tyler and Miracle crossed paths in 2021 while filming Season 2 of P-Valley. They started dating that summer, and in October 2022, they welcomed their first child together, a son named Xi Leí Lepley.
In late November, the couple revealed their engagement with a carousel and video that captured the memorable night, surrounded by white roses and a stunning engagement ring.

Even though Tyler felt certain that Miracle was the one he wanted to marry from the moment they met, he acknowledged the importance of taking time to truly understand each other.

"In any relationship, whether it’s with my fiancée Miracle or my sisters here [gestures to his co-stars], it’s important to take our time," Tyler shared. "We need to reach a point where it’s a true give-and-take relationship, where we can contribute meaningfully and also learn from it."
"That takes time. We live in a society where everything is expected to happen instantly. Social media makes it harder... it complicates things because you're forced to grow in front of everyone. You have to experience both victories and defeats publicly, all the time."
He shared how he found a way to slow down his personal life, even with the spotlight on him, which allowed their relationship to grow and become what it is now.
"When things are under a magnifying glass, I slow everything down to ensure it's genuine. Taking time with anything allows it to unfold in the best possible way," he explained.
Though the couple enjoys shows like Love Is Blind and 90 Day Fiancé, Tyler shyly mentioned that they preferred to take their time getting to know one another.
