If you were a child who earned pizza by reading books, this one's for you! Pizza Hut is offering free personal pan pizzas during October (which is also National Book Month) to encourage readers of all ages. This year celebrates the 40th anniversary of their Book It! program, which has been inspiring students from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade to read with the reward of a delicious pizza since 1984.
While you don't have to sign up for Book It! or prove you've read anything to get a free pizza from Pizza Hut, you can still embrace the spirit of the program by treating yourself to a personal pan pizza after finishing a book. Here's how to get your Pizza Hut Book It! pizza.
How to claim your free Pizza Hut pizza
To claim your free personal pan pizza, simply place an $8 minimum order online through Pizza Hut's website or the Pizza Hut app and enter the promo code BOOKIT40 at checkout. You'll be taken back to choose your toppings, and your pizza will be added to your cart at no additional cost. The Book It! code is valid until 10/30 or until 1 million pizzas are claimed.
You can also grab the Book It! bundle, which includes two large one-topping pizzas and a side of breadsticks. A portion of the proceeds will support the Book It! program.
