Instacart reported a 58% increase in purchases of probiotic and prebiotic foods, including probiotic sodas and gut-friendly fermented foods like miso and kimchi.

"In today's fast-paced lifestyle, convenience is key, and more people are looking for easy ways to make small adjustments for better health and wellness—like swapping a traditional soda for a probiotic version from time to time."
4. The Rise of Cottage Cheese and Greek Yogurt

High-protein dairy options like cottage cheese and Greek or Icelandic yogurt are gaining popularity fast. Instacart reports a 17% increase in cottage cheese sales, with Greek and Icelandic yogurts also seeing a 6% boost.

Canned mackerel is especially popular, seeing a 74% increase in sales, while sardines are also gaining traction with a 13% rise.

Maintaining hydration will remain a priority, and while water is always a reliable choice, many will seek more flavorful alternatives. Sales of electrolyte drink powders have surged by over 30%, and coconut water is also experiencing growth, as per Instacart.
