Hello everyone, and welcome to another exciting topic selection for Will It Sous Vide?, the weekly feature where I experiment with whatever ideas you suggest using my immersion circulator.
Last week’s culinary experiment included many non-sous-vide components, so this time, I’d like to focus on something entirely prepared in a bag (or jar). A few possibilities:
Coffee: Let’s test it at various temperatures! I have a highly skilled barista friend who can provide expert advice.
Amaro: I’ve experimented with simple infused vodkas and whiskey, but I’m curious to see if my Anova can help create a Campari alternative.
Something Fermented: Perhaps kimchi, beer, or kombucha?
Reviewing this list, I notice I’ve only mentioned liquids—maybe I’m thirsty? Just kidding, I’m always thirsty—so feel free to recommend solid foods (or anything else that inspires you). Your suggestions are always appreciated.
