Call of Duty faces numerous challenges, and despite banning over 130,000 cheating accounts, this measure has yet to address the game's existing problems.
While swearing may be tolerated in Call of Duty, hacking is absolutely forbidden. After being purged by the developers for a while, hackers have once again infiltrated every area of the game, causing frustration within the community.

Whether in casual matches or ranked games, players are likely to encounter someone with extremely abnormal reactions or simply seeing through walls. As the new season approaches, Call of Duty's publisher, Activision, revealed that they have once again taken action against hackers, banning hundreds of thousands of cheaters.

The developers revealed that they have banned over 136,000 accounts since the introduction of ranked mode. However, this still isn't enough to significantly reduce the cheating that continues to plague most of Call of Duty's game modes.
In addition to the account bans, the publisher shared that the upcoming season will feature an improved anti-cheat system, along with new software designed to detect and remove cheaters as quickly as possible. Furthermore, in the following season, the Ricochet anti-cheat system will be updated with several new technologies to help win the battle against cheating.

It seems that the next season could become one of the most significant updates Call of Duty has ever seen. Only time will tell if Black Ops 6 and Warzone can recover and reach their peak once again.
