A legendary figure in both LPL and global League of Legends is receiving mixed opinions following his extreme "trash talk".
The LPL legend sparks controversy once again.
As everyone knows, during the past week’s matches, the Chinese League of Legends legend and former World Champion Doinb made his return, delivering an outstanding performance. Not only did he show that his skills and form haven’t faded, but he also helped Ninjas in Pyjamas defeat the powerhouse Invictus Gaming, including superstars like TheShy and Rookie, in a convincing manner.
Furthermore, known for his strong personality and never shying away from confrontation, Doinb made an intense "trash talk" after the match: "To all my loyal fans, I know you’ve had a tough day. As we all know, the support ratio for us was only 3% compared to 97% on the other side. I truly appreciate this 3%, and to everyone else: BOW DOWN!!!".

On various Chinese social media platforms, numerous voices are urging the LPL organizers and Riot to impose a severe penalty on NIP's Mid Lane player. 'He is too arrogant. This behavior disrespects the audience,' a comment stated on Weibo.
However, according to many fans, it's possible that Doinb and NIP will only receive a mild penalty for his over-the-top actions. After all, the match against IG was Doinb's first professional game in over two years, and his emotional outburst is understandable.
Furthermore, some statistics show that Doinb quickly generated massive viewership (over 1 million at its peak on China's streaming platforms) for the LPL. As a result, the tournament organizers may choose to go easy on him, especially given that LPL has been losing some of its appeal after years of failure at the World Championship.
