==> The extraction password for the files is: 12345
* Note: If you encounter any errors during the download process, like the one shown below, simply log in to your Google account (Gmail), then return to the GTA 5 download page and click 'Retry' to resume the download.
* First step after successfully downloading the files is to rename them accordingly.
For example: If the downloaded file is named GTA5.iso.001.rar, extract the file and place all 4 files in the same folder.
- The file names should be renamed to:
+ GTA 5.iso.001
+ GTA 5.iso.002
+ GTA 5.iso.003
+ GTA 5.iso.004
The extraction password for the file is: 12345
* Note: You must keep the filenames identical, with the only difference being the extensions .001, .002, .003, .004 as shown in the example. Doing this will help avoid errors like Code-14 or Setup was not completed when installing GTA 5 on your computer or laptop.
- Once you've renamed all four files, place all four files into the same folder.
- The next step is to combine these four files into one installation file. => Refer to the GTA 5 File Merging Guide for instructions on how to merge them into a single installation file (after merging, you'll have a 60GB file).

5. Common Issues When Installing GTA V
5.1. Steam Failed to Initialize. Please Exit and Try Again
This is one of the most common errors that occurs after installation. Essentially, it happens when you haven't applied the proper "patch" or the patch was applied incorrectly. To fix the Steam failed to initialize error, please follow the instructions below.
5.2. Error: Can't Write to a File Stream
This error occurs when you're in the middle of joining the GTA V files and encounter the message 'Can't write to a file stream.' It's likely due to your hard drive being full, particularly the partition where GTA 5 is stored. For example, if the uncompressed GTA V files are 50 GB, you'll need at least 100 GB of free space since an additional 50 GB is required when joining the files. You can save some space by deleting files after the join process is complete, but files can only be removed after extraction is finished.
To fix the 'Can't write to a file stream' error, the only solution is to free up space on your hard drive or move the files to a partition with more available space.
5.3. Error: Code -14 and Code -267
These two errors, although occurring during different stages, tend to appear around the same time when you finish installing GTA V. There are many potential causes for encountering Code -14 and Code -267. If you experience these errors, try deleting the GTA V installation files and reinstalling the game from the beginning. Don't forget to restart your computer after the installation, or you can also follow the instructions for fixing Code 14 errors when installing GTA 5.
By reviewing the steps to install GTA 5, Grand Theft Auto V, on your computer or laptop, you'll gain a clear understanding of the initial process to start playing the game. Since GTA 5 is an open-world game with a large map, it takes up a significant amount of storage space and requires a high-end computer configuration.
If your computer has low specs or limited hard drive space, you can consider playing a "sibling" game of GTA 5, namely GTA San Andreas. This game has a smaller map and lower graphic requirements, making it more accessible for computers with less powerful configurations.
GTA 5 is an exciting game, but sometimes players encounter difficult missions that make them turn to cheats and commands. One of the most popular GTA 5 cheat codes is for increasing money, health, and more. These GTA 5 commands can even give you vehicles, planes, tanks, and rockets. However, many gamers still prefer to experience the game in its traditional, unaltered form. What about you? What's your perspective on this? Feel free to share your thoughts with us!
