Step-by-Step Instructions
Pairing Beats Headphones, Earphones, & Earbuds

Activate Bluetooth on your iPhone. You can do this by swiping down from the top-right corner to open the Control Center and tapping the Bluetooth icon, or by navigating to Settings > Bluetooth and toggling it on.

Power on your Beats headphones or earphones. If you're using Beats headphones or earphones (the type with two connected earbuds), you'll need to turn them on before you can connect them to your iPhone.

Put your Beats into pairing mode. Depending on the type of Beats device you have, the process may vary:
- Most Beats headphones: Press and hold the power/system button for 3 to 4 seconds.
- Beats Solo Pro headphones: Open the headphones near your iPhone.
- Beats earbuds (with a case): Open the case's lid near your iPhone with the earbuds inside.
- BeatsX and Beats Flex earphones: Hold the power button for a few seconds.
- Powerbeats earphones: Simply hold them close to your iPhone.

Keep your Beats close to your iPhone. Your iPhone should automatically detect your nearby Beats in pairing mode and prompt you to connect.

Tap Connect on your iPhone screen. After you tap the Connect button, your Beats will be successfully paired with your iPhone, and you'll be able to enjoy music, videos, calls, audiobooks, and more.
Pairing Beats Speakers

Activate Bluetooth on your iPhone. Head to Settings > Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is switched on. Stay on this screen for the pairing process to proceed smoothly.

Power on your Beats speakers. Make sure your Beats speakers are turned on before attempting to connect them to your iPhone.

Set your Beats speakers to pairing mode. To do so, press and hold the power button on the Beats Pill or the "b" button on the Beats Pill+.

Place your Beats speakers near your iPhone. For successful pairing, your Beats speakers need to be within Bluetooth range of your iPhone, which is approximately 30 feet.

Select your Beats speakers from the "Other Devices" section in the Bluetooth menu. If you're not in the Bluetooth menu yet, go to Settings > Bluetooth to initiate the pairing process.
- Once successfully paired, your speakers will show up under the "My Devices" list.
Common Issues and Solutions

My Beats were connected before, but they won't connect now. Ensure that your Beats are within Bluetooth range of your iPhone, approximately 30 feet. Staying within this range is essential for a stable connection.

My iPhone shows my Beats are connected, but there's no sound. Check that the volume is turned up both on your iPhone and on your Beats (if they have independent volume control).

My Beats Solo Pro headphones won’t connect after I unfold them. If your Beats Solo Pro headphones aren’t pairing, try pressing and holding the Mode button on the left earcup for 5 seconds. After that, attempt the pairing process again as usual.

I've tried everything, but my Beats still won’t connect to my iPhone. Here are two things you can try:
- If you’ve previously connected your Beats to your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and tap the info button (the "i" icon) next to your Beats under "My Devices." Then tap Forget This Device and attempt to pair again.
- If you've never connected your Beats or forgetting the device didn’t help, consider performing a factory reset. This usually involves pressing and holding the power/system button, volume buttons, and/or Beats logo for a few seconds, depending on your device.
