Unlike Spotify, Apple Music doesn’t allow users to create playlists or collaborate with friends. Although you and your friends can’t add songs from any platform, you can collect recommendations from friends, add them to your Apple Music playlist, and then share it. Today, Mytour will guide you through the steps of sharing any playlist with your friends and family.
Steps
On Desktop

Launch Apple Music on your desktop and sign in. You can find the app by searching for "Music" via the Spotlight Search feature on your Mac.
- Although playlist collaboration is not possible with friends on different devices, you can create a playlist with your friends' input and share it so you can all enjoy it together.

Go to File > New > Playlist to create a new playlist. Afterward, add a name and an optional description for the playlist.
- You can add music immediately or come back to add songs later as you find ones you enjoy.

To share your playlist, click the three-dot icon on the right side of the screen.

Choose the Share Playlist option and copy the provided link. You can then share this link via email, text message, or any other sharing method.
On iPhone

Open Apple Music on your iPhone and tap the My Music option in the bottom-right corner. This will direct you to the list of playlists you've followed and created.

Create a new playlist by clicking the New button at the top right corner. Then, add a name and an optional description for your playlist.
- You can add songs immediately or come back to add more as you discover new favorites.
- For a collaborative playlist, ask your friends for suggestions and add those songs to the list.

Tap on the Done button to confirm the creation of your playlist. You can always come back later to add or remove songs from your playlist at any time.

In your playlist, tap the three-dot icon at the top right corner. A few options will appear.

Tap on the Share Playlist. You can choose to share the playlist via:
- Text message
