Getting ready to challenge the Leviathan in Blox Fruits? Summoning it isn't too complex, but its rare appearance can make it a bit tricky. This guide will walk you through everything needed to prepare for, summon, and defeat the Leviathan.
How to Summon the Leviathan in Blox Fruits
Start by visiting the Spy at Tiki Outpost and bribing him for info on the Leviathan. Head north from the outpost to locate the Frozen Dimension—though due to its low spawn rate, multiple attempts may be needed. Once there, speak with the Frozen Watcher to trigger the Leviathan battle.
Procedure
Getting Ready
Prepare yourself thoroughly for the Leviathan battle. You'll need the right gear, fruits, and even a specific race.
- The Shark race is ideal since it reduces Water damage.
- If you're not a Shark, consider using a Race Reroll, available from the Shop, tort, or certain event NPCs.
- Recommended weapons include the Shark Anchor (it deals more damage to the Leviathan) or an Explosive Gun like the Cannon, Bazooka, or Soul Guitar).
- To acquire the Shark Anchor, use a Monster Magnet to summon a Terrorshark with an anchor. Inflict at least 10% damage and defeat it to earn the weapon.
- You should be at least level 2,300 before taking on the Leviathan, although higher levels will make the fight easier.
- Recommended fruits for the battle include Buddha, Magma, Mammoth, or Dragon.
- Leopard, T-Rex, and Dough V2 fruits are also viable, while Sound and Phoenix fruits are great for support.
- The best Fighting Styles are Sharkman Karate or Sanguine Art.
- Dragon Talon is another viable option.
- You’ll need at least 5 players (including yourself) in your Sea Exploration Group to summon the Leviathan, but having more players is better.
- The boat's driver should wear a Kitsune Mask to help navigate around rocks.
- To obtain a Kitsune Mask, turn in 15 Azure Embers at the Kitsune Shrine on Kitsune Island during the Blue Moon event. The mask drops with a 10% chance each time.
How to Summon the Leviathan
Assemble a Sea Exploration Group with at least 5 members. Gather a group of 5 players (including yourself) before attempting to summon the Leviathan.
Bribe the Spy. The Spy is located near a tree on the roof of the middle temple. To significantly increase your chances of finding the Frozen Dimension (where the Leviathan spawns), bribe the Spy at the middle temple. One bribe costs 1,500 Fragments, and you shouldn’t need more than 6,000 Fragments in total to get the hint.
- If the Spy says, "The Leviathan is out there! Go find it before it causes more destruction," your chances of locating the Frozen Dimension improve.
- If the Spy says, "I don’t know anything yet," you’re on a Spy cooldown. Complete 10-20 Sea Events to bribe him again.
- Bribes can be contributed by multiple players, not just one.
- If you choose not to bribe the Spy or if you’re on cooldown, the Frozen Dimension may still spawn, but the chances are lower. Bribing the Spy is highly recommended.
Sail north from the Tiki Outpost until you hit Sea Danger Level 6. If you don’t have a boat, you can buy one from a vendor at the Tiki Outpost. Continue sailing north until your compass shows a purple ring with the number "6" and "????" at the bottom. The area will also become much darker when you enter Sea Danger Level 6.
Continue sailing until you locate the Frozen Dimension. The Frozen Dimension has a very low spawn rate, even after bribing the Spy. You'll know you've found it when the area is bathed in a blue light, and you encounter the Frozen Watcher NPC standing before a massive gate, surrounded by a snowy atmosphere.
- If your boat is destroyed before finding the Frozen Dimension, head back to the Tiki Outpost and try again.
Speak to the Frozen Watcher to initiate the Leviathan fight. The Frozen Watcher is an NPC in the Frozen Dimension, resembling a blue orb. To trigger the Leviathan battle, make sure at least 5 members of your Sea Exploration Group are present when you talk to the Frozen Watcher.
Destroy the segments before targeting the head. The Leviathan is made up of three segments in addition to its head. You must eliminate these segments before you can inflict damage on the head, which is the primary part of the creature.
Use Area-of-Effect (AoE) attacks against the Leviathan. Like Sea Beasts, the Leviathan is immune to single-target attacks and M1s. Therefore, fruits like Mammoth, Magma, and Dragon are ideal for their AoE capabilities.
- Explosive Guns will also deal damage to the Leviathan.
Designate one player to guard the boat. While the boat is invulnerable to the Leviathan's attacks, it can still take damage from Terrorsharks and piranhas. The player assigned to guard the boat should fend off any threats and repair the boat as needed.
Use the harpoon on the Beast Hunter boat to collect the Leviathan Heart. To use the harpoon, you need to have defeated the Leviathan multiple times to acquire the Beast Hunter boat, which requires 20 Leviathan Scales for crafting. Once you have the boat, use the harpoon at the front to capture the Leviathan Heart.
- The Leviathan Heart will only remain available for about a minute after the Leviathan is defeated.
- All players will receive a Leviathan Heart if they successfully return to the Tiki Outpost without dying. If a player dies during the journey, they won't get a Leviathan Heart, even if they make it back to the boat.
Leviathan Drops
Inflict at least 10% damage to each segment to receive all Leviathan drops. The drops for this boss include:
- Approximately $250,000
- 3 to 5 Leviathan Scales
- 1,000 Fragments
- 5 levels
- 2,200 Valor
- The "Serpent Slayer" title (Title #174)
- Leviathan Heart
- To acquire the Leviathan Heart, you must use the harpoon on the Beast Hunter boat.
Each segment has its own drops. Each of Leviathan's segments drops around $50,000, 3 to 5 Leviathan scales, and grants one level.
