Instructions
Search for a Registry Using the Amazon App

Tap the ☰ menu in the Amazon app. This icon with three lines is located at the bottom-right of your screen on Android, iPhone, or iPad.

Select Gifting & Registry. You'll find this listed under "Shop by category."

Tap on Registry & Gift List. This will take you to the registry search section.

Click Find a registry. You'll spot this option near the top of the screen.

Look up the person by name and registry category. Type their name in the top search bar, choose either Baby Registry, Wedding Registry, or Gift List, then hit Search to find their registry.

Tap on the name of the person to open their registry. Matching results will show the names of the registry owners. If the list is too long or not specific enough, refine the search by using details like location or event date.
- If it's a gift list, you can filter by event type such as Birthday, Graduation, Holiday, or Housewarming.
Use a Computer to Find a Registry

Hover over "Accounts & Lists" with your mouse. You'll find this at the top of Amazon.com.
- You don't need to sign in to search for a registry.

Select Find a List or Registry. This is located under the "Your Lists" section.

Click on Find a registry. You'll spot this option to the left of the screen, just above the "Create" button.

Look up the person by name and registry type. Type their name in the top field, pick Baby Registry, Wedding Registry, or Gift List from the dropdown, and click Search to find their registry.

Click on the registrant's name to see their registry. If matches come up, each registry owner’s name will be listed. Narrow your results by adding filters like location or date of the event.
- For gift lists, you can refine your search by choosing Birthday, Graduation, Holiday, or Housewarming as the occasion.
Why am I not seeing a registry?

The registry might not be live yet. New registries may take some time before showing up in search results.
- Wedding registries appear within 15 minutes.
- Baby registries may take 1 to 6 hours.
- Gift registries—such as Birthday, Graduation, Holiday, and Housewarming—can take up to 24 hours.

Some registries can't be found through search. If the owner set their registry to Private or Shared, it won’t appear until they switch it to Public. Reach out to the owner and ask them to share the registry with you directly.

If the registry belongs to a child, try searching the parent’s name. For baby registries or children’s gift lists on Amazon, look up the parent’s name rather than the child’s.
How can I locate someone's Amazon wish list?

The wish list must be shared by the owner. Amazon doesn’t allow searching for wish lists like it does for baby, wedding, or gift registries. If someone has created a wish list, they’ll need to send you the link. Here's how they can do it:
- On the mobile app:
- Tap the person icon and choose Your Lists.
- Select the wish list to share.
- Tap Invite at the top.
- Pick View only, or View and edit to collaborate on the list.
- Share via Email or Text Message.
- On a computer:
- Hover over "Accounts & Lists" on Amazon.com.
- Find and select your wish list under "Your Lists."
- Click Send list to others.
- Choose View only, or View and edit if you’ll both add items.
- Click Copy link or Invite by email to share.
