This article will guide you through everything you need to know about obtaining and using Trade Tokens in Clash Royale.

Steps to Get Trade Tokens
How to Obtain Trade Tokens

Global Tournaments. Trade Tokens may be available as rewards in Global Tournaments, but they aren’t always offered. Be sure to check regularly for any tournaments that feature Trade Tokens as prizes.
- To enter Global Tournaments, you need to be King Level 19.
- Global Tournaments take place twice a month, so if the current one doesn’t include Trade Tokens, you’ll need to wait for the next round.

The Shop. Occasionally, you can purchase Trade Tokens through packs in the Shop. However, it’s not guaranteed, so if you don’t spot any Trade Tokens for sale, you’ll have to wait until new offers appear.
- Trade Tokens can be bought with real money, and their price varies depending on the current promotion.
How to Use Trade Tokens

You must reach King Level 16 to use Trade Tokens. If your King Level is below 16, you can still collect Trade Tokens but won’t be able to use them until you level up.

When making a trade, you may end up giving or receiving multiple cards. The number of cards depends on the rarity of the trade. For instance, if you trade an Epic card, you’ll be exchanging 10 of that card. Similarly, you’ll receive 10 copies of the card you're trading for. Here's how many cards you'll give or receive based on rarity:
- Common: 250 cards
- Rare: 50 cards
- Epic: 10 cards
- Legendary: 1 card

You can trade cards with your clanmates using Trade Tokens. To access the trading interface, tap on Request Card then Trade. Once there, you can choose a card to request. Keep these things in mind when trading with another player:
- You can only trade for a card that matches your Trade Token's rarity (for example, a Rare Trade Token can only be used to trade for a Rare card).
- After requesting a card, you can offer up to 4 cards of the same rarity as the one you're trading for.
- To accept a trade, you'll need a Trade Token and one of the requested cards from the other player.
- If you receive a card that is already maxed out or you have enough to max it out, you will instead receive Gold from the trade.

You can also trade with the NPC Trader. If your clan doesn’t have the cards you need, or if you prefer not to trade with your clanmates, the NPC Trader is a good alternative.
- When you start a trade with the NPC Trader, you’ll pick one of three available cards to give, and choose one of three cards to receive in return.
- A Trade Token of matching rarity is required to complete the trade with the NPC Trader.
- If you want to change the three offered cards, you can pay 10 Gems to reroll them.
- Epic trades are available on Sundays, and Legendary trades are only offered if you have 2,000 or more Trophies.
- The Trader's deals reset at midnight local time.
