Today, Mytour will guide you through the process of using a computer, phone, and tablet to add Discord users to your personal friends list. You can easily send a friend request to any user if you know their unique Discord Tag. This user will be added to your friends list once they accept your invitation.
Steps
On Computer
Launch Discord on your computer. The Discord logo is a white game controller inside a purple circle.
- You can use the Discord desktop version or the web platform at https://discord.com.
Click the Home button in the top left corner. This button has a white game controller icon inside a purple square at the top-left corner of the app window.
Click on Friends in the left menu. This option has an icon of a waving person, which you can find in the Home menu at the top-left corner of the app window. Below that is the "DIRECT MESSAGES" list.
Click the Add Friend button at the top. This green button is located at the top of the "Friends" page. The friend request page will open.
Enter your friend's Discord Tag under the "ADD FRIEND" title." Click the "Enter a DiscordTag#0000" field at the top of the page, then type the Discord Tag of the person you want to add.
- The Discord Tag includes the user's name, the "#" symbol, and their unique 4-digit code.
Click the Send Friend Request button. This blue button is located to the right of the text field. The friend request will be sent to this user.
- This user will be added to your friends list as soon as they accept your request.
On mobile devices or tablets
Open the Discord app on your phone or tablet. The app features a white game controller icon inside a purple circle.
- You can use Discord on any iPhone, iPad, or Android model.
Tap the menu button with three horizontal lines ☰ in the top-left corner of the screen. The navigation menu will appear.
Tap the Home button located at the top left. This button features a circle with three white people icons inside. The "DIRECT MESSAGES" list will open.
Tap Friends in the Home menu. This option, represented by a waving hand icon, is located at the top-left corner of the app window, just above the "DIRECT MESSAGES" list.

- Người dùng này sẽ được thêm vào danh sách bạn bè của bạn ngay khi họ chấp nhận lời đề nghị.
