Sometimes, your brother might get on your nerves. If you want him to stop bothering you, you can try some creative ways to irritate him without causing too much trouble. Annoying your older brother is different from annoying your younger one, so explore ways to tease them, no matter how old you are.
Steps
Teasing your younger brother

Imitate his voice. Whenever your younger brother says something, repeat what he just said but in a high-pitched female voice. This always drives him crazy. This technique works especially well when he says things like, "Stop doing that!" or "I told you already!"
- When your parents come in, quickly switch back to your normal voice so they don't catch on.

Take food from your younger brother's plate. While having dinner, wait until no one is looking and sneakily grab food from your brother’s plate. Make sure he likes the dish. Before he notices, say something like, "Hey, where did your food go?"

Order your younger brother around like your parents do. Younger brothers always want to seem more grown-up, and the more you emphasize their age, the more it annoys them. So, always treat your younger brother as if he’s much younger than you.
- If you’re doing chores together, keep commenting on how slow he is or how he can’t keep up because you're older.
- Assign him tasks, even if it’s not your responsibility to give chores.
- Call him "kid" whenever he asks for help or doesn’t understand something. Always talk about how small or immature he is.

Make up stories. Younger brothers often believe made-up stories. One way to annoy them is by telling funny, fabricated stories and getting them to believe them. If you manage to get them to repeat these stories as truth, you’ve won.
- Tell your brother that avocados are actually dinosaur eggs. And, they are poisonous.
- Tell him he wasn’t really born, and your parents raised him in a bucket.
- Tell him you have the ability to read minds. He’ll think, "You don’t know, right?"
- Tell him that the dog can talk when he’s not around, and the dog says it wants to eat him.
- Tell him that Star Wars is a documentary. It really happened.
- Tell him that when he grows up, his nipples will fall off and then grow back again.

Embarrass him in front of his friends. If your brother invites a few friends over, it’s the perfect opportunity to tease him and make him feel awkward in front of them. Show embarrassing pictures from when he was little or bring up something embarrassing he did when his friends are around. He’ll get really annoyed.
- Mini nuclear war: Spill a glass of water on his bed so it looks like he wet himself the night before. Wait for his friends to show up and let them discover it.
- You need to be careful when doing this. If you’re older by a few years, you might have better ways to tease your brother rather than making a scene in front of his friends. Otherwise, you’ll look like the "bad guy" doing this.

Use the silent treatment. If you really want to get back at your brother for something, ignoring him can sometimes be the best solution. He’ll probably want your attention, so your indifference will annoy him even more as you do anything.
- Don’t let him do things you’re doing. If you’re watching a movie, tell him he’s not allowed to watch it because he’s too young. Stop him from doing anything you’re doing.

Try to be a good friend. Younger brothers often look up to their older siblings. Since younger brothers can sometimes be a nuisance, you need to remember that you can be a positive influence on them. Instead of teasing them, guide them to develop their own personality. Don’t make them into a constant troublemaker.
- Only use these methods to get back at your brother for something that frustrated you. Don’t make this a habit.
Teasing your older brother

Invade his room. Older brothers usually want to protect their private space. If your brother has his own bedroom, feel free to go in without permission. Ask him lots of questions and start making a mess.
- Wait until he tells your parents, then quickly leave and return to your room. If your parents ask about it, say, "He’s just making that up."
- Do something silly in his room when he’s out, like piling up all his clothes or using sticky notes to label everything. Stick a note on the door that says "Door". Put another note on his computer that says "Computer". Find his jar of loose change and put a note saying "143 coins". He will get confused.
- Feign innocence. If he wants to scold you or chase you, tell your parents that you were only asking him a question and then he started hitting you.

Make annoying noises. Wait until he’s busy with something, like playing a difficult game, talking to a girl, or doing homework. That’s when you should make noise. You can make silly sounds with your mouth, armpit, or toys. Make a big racket.
- Make sure your parents are in a different room so you can stop before they catch you in the act.

Hide his stuff. You can hide his phone, keys, homework, or anything important to him. Hide them in a place that’s hard to find, like in a box in the attic or somewhere unexpected in the garage.
- Be careful not to leave evidence behind in your room. Be smart and avoid hiding things under your pillow. If they’re found, you can always pretend you don’t know anything, and no one will be able to prove you’re the culprit.
- You could also confess when your brother is looking for the item. Say something like, "Oh, you need your phone? I know where it is. Take me to the bookstore, and I’ll tell you."

Interrupt his internet connection while he's using it. Find the Wi-Fi router in the house and press the "Reset" button. While he's chatting online with his friends, repeatedly press the Reset button, and he will definitely get frustrated.
- If you don’t know where the router is, ask your parents out of curiosity. You can say something like, "How does the internet work? Can you show me, Dad?" This will make a good impression on your parents.

Spy on him. Older brothers always want their privacy. If your brother truly values privacy on his computer, phone, and in his room, try invading his personal space as much as possible. Teasing him a bit will definitely annoy him.
- Try to unlock his phone. Delete some contacts or change the names. Find his best friend’s contact and change it to "Dummy".
- Try logging into his Facebook account and posting something confusing, changing his profile picture, or leaving silly comments on other people’s posts.

Wake him up really early. If your brother went out late the night before, wake him up by blasting rock music like Linkin Park or AC/DC, or by playing a fight scene from Lord of the Rings at full volume. Do this in his room at 6 a.m. on a Saturday. It will bother him right away.
- If he has an alarm clock, set it two hours earlier than the time he usually gets up. No one wakes up at 4 a.m., except your brother.

Relax. It’s not always true, but you’re lucky to have a brother, and you’ll become closer over time. No matter how annoying your brother can be, teasing him makes you immature and gets both of you into trouble. Try to build a better relationship with him.
- Instead of frustrating him, try learning from him. Older brothers often know more about their younger, naive siblings. Rather than making him angry, try to understand why he does certain things.
Warning
- You might find yourself in trouble if you're careless. Be ready to take action!
