- You can also block websites on Android using the Family Link app.

Install a parental control app. In addition to built-in device parental controls, you can install a third-party parental control app. Many antivirus programs like Norton and McAfee offer parental control settings. Additionally, apps like Qustodio, Locategy, and Net Nanny provide extra parental control features, allowing you to manage your child's online activity.

Enable Safe Search. In addition to blocking inappropriate websites, enabling Safe Search filters inappropriate search results on search engines like Google. Follow these steps to enable Safe Search on Google:
- Go to https://www.google.com/.
- Make sure you're signed in to the account you want to set Safe Search for.
- Click Settings in the lower right corner.
- Select Search Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Check the box next to Turn on Safe Search.

Use a Wi-Fi extender with parental control features. In addition to using parental control apps, devices like Circle by Disney or Gryphon work as Wi-Fi extenders that connect to your router, providing parental control settings for the entire Wi-Fi network.

Block websites on your router. Most Wi-Fi routers allow you to log in and block certain websites. You can also purchase routers that come with built-in parental control features, allowing you to set up parental controls for your entire Wi-Fi network.

Contact your service provider. Many service providers offer content-blocking services and screen time limits. Reach out to your provider or visit their website to log in and check out the available parental control services.

Monitor your child's online activity. Even if you've set up parental controls, it’s important to regularly check your child's online behavior. You can check browsing history and Google account history. Review the images and videos your child has downloaded to their device and the apps they're using. Make sure they are not receiving inappropriate content through messages or apps like Reddit or Telegram.
