Marijuana tea (cannabis tea) is a calming drink made by steeping cannabis buds in hot water. When consumed, the tea releases THC into the body, helping to ease pain and stress. Marijuana use is illegal in many parts of the world, so be sure to only use it if it is legally permitted in your area.

Steps
How to Brew Marijuana Tea (Simple Method)

Grind the cannabis buds. Remove any stems and seeds if necessary. Then, use a grinder or a sharp knife to finely crush the cannabis buds, but avoid turning them into a powder.

Mix the ground cannabis with butter. Place the ground cannabis and butter in a bowl, then stir them together with a spoon. Make sure the cannabis is evenly coated in the fat, but avoid soaking the ground cannabis in the butter as it may hinder the THC release.
- Note: If you want a stronger Marijuana tea, you need to extract the THC from the plant. Since THC cannot dissolve in water alone, a fat is needed to bond with it at high temperatures. The combination of hot water and the fat in the butter will extract THC from the crushed cannabis, allowing it to be absorbed into your body.

Strain the tea bag, then add the cannabis-butter mixture. You can cut open the tea bag and empty the tea leaves inside. Place the ground cannabis into the bag and fold it multiple times to prevent it from spilling out.
- You can use a metal tea infuser as an alternative to a tea bag.
- Or, you can use a coffee filter: place the cannabis in the center, fold the edges together, and tie it tightly to create a small tea bag.

Simmer the water on the stove. Pour water into a small pot, set the heat to medium, and allow it to simmer (do not let it boil over).

Simmer the tea bag in water for about 30 minutes. Reduce the heat when the mixture starts to boil. If the water level gets too low, you can add more water to prevent it from evaporating completely.

Remove the pot from the stove and take out the tea bag. The Marijuana tea will be very hot, so be cautious and let it cool for 5 minutes. If you'd like more flavor, you can add another tea bag of your choice during the last 3 minutes of the simmering process.

Stir in sugar or honey to taste, then enjoy. Like most Marijuana products consumed in liquid form, it's recommended to drink the tea within 45-60 minutes for optimal effects.
- Note: Just ½ gram of Marijuana buds is enough to make a strong cup of tea.
Brewing Marijuana Chai Latte

Grind the Marijuana buds. Remove the stems and seeds if necessary, then use a grinder or a sharp knife to finely crush the buds—avoiding turning them into powder.

Blend marijuana with milk, butter, and vanilla. Add these ingredients to a blender and mix until smooth.

Let the mixture sit for an hour. This step allows the flavors to meld together.

Simmer the water for 30 minutes. Keep a close eye on the pot to ensure it doesn’t boil over or evaporate. Add more water as needed to maintain a steady level.

Remove the pot from the stove and add the Chai tea bag. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes. During this time, the tea will begin to cool.

Strain the mixture through a fine sieve. Place the sieve (or cheesecloth) over a bowl, then pour the tea into it to remove any leftover tea leaves. You can skip this step if you don't mind having tea particles in your drink.

Pour the tea into a cup and enjoy. Stir the tea with sugar and add some milk for extra flavor. If you want a more nutritious drink, you can squeeze in some cream and sprinkle cinnamon on top.
- Note: Only ½ gram of Marijuana buds is enough to make a strong cup of tea.
Making Marijuana Herbal Tea

Grind the Marijuana buds. Remove the stems and seeds if needed, then use a grinder or a sharp knife to finely chop the Marijuana buds, but avoid turning them into powder.

Place a clean tea bag, then add the ground Marijuana inside. You can cut open a tea bag, remove the tea leaves, and fill it with the ground Marijuana. Fold the bag multiple times to keep the Marijuana from spilling out.
- You can use a metal tea infuser as an alternative to a tea bag.
- Alternatively, a coffee filter works too: place the Marijuana inside, fold the edges over, and tie it up to create a small tea pouch.

Place the tea bag into the cup. Add a second tea bag of your usual choice to enhance the flavor. Earl Grey, Irish Breakfast, or other herbal teas can all bring a delightful taste to your Marijuana tea.

Boil a cup of hot water. You can boil the water either on the stove or in the microwave.

Pour the water into a cup, then steep the tea for 3-5 minutes. The longer the tea steeps, the stronger the flavor will be.

Remove the tea bag and enjoy. Stir the tea with sugar, honey, or milk to enhance the flavor.
- Note: Pure Marijuana tea often has a wonderful herbal flavor, but it won't be very strong since THC requires fat to fully release from the Marijuana buds. If you want a stronger Marijuana tea, you need to brew it in a different way.
Warning
- Check the laws in your area to see if the use of Marijuana is allowed. Marijuana usage may be illegal within your jurisdiction.
