Cancel your Max subscription whenever you choose
How you cancel HBO Max depends on where you subscribed. If you registered through the Max website, you can cancel there directly. But if your subscription was set up through a third party—like Amazon, Apple, or your internet provider—you’ll need to cancel through them. This guide shows how to cancel HBO Max on every platform, the best timing to avoid extra charges, and who to contact for billing or cancellation support.

- Sign in at max.com/subscription and click Cancel Your Subscription, then select Continue to Cancel.
- If your billing is handled by a third party, you’ll see it listed. Visit their website and log in to cancel.
- If you're subscribed through a TV, mobile, or internet provider, head to your provider’s website to cancel.
