There are times when you need to save a website on your computer to review later, like a cooking recipe. Today, Mytour will guide you on how to capture a website as either text or an image.
Steps
Save as PDF
Go to the website you want to capture. You can use any web browser such as Chrome, Safari, or Firefox on both Mac or Windows computers.
- This is the simplest way to obtain a copy of the website. Essentially, you'll send a print command to your browser for the entire page, but instead of printing it, you'll save it as a PDF.
Press Ctrl+P (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd+P (Mac). This keyboard shortcut will instruct the web browser to print the current page.
Change the print destination to "Save as PDF". You can also adjust the number of pages to save (if the information you need is only on the first page, you don’t need to save the rest).
Click on Save (Save). This will save the webpage as a PDF on your computer.
Save as Text
Open any word processing program. You will need a program that supports both text and images, such as Google Docs, Pages, or Word.

Lưu tài liệu. Bạn có thể xem cả văn bản và hình ảnh trong nội dung vừa dán, đồng thời cũng có thể lưu lại tài liệu để xem sau.
Copy as Image
Visit the website you want to copy. You can use your preferred web browser, such as Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
Take a Screenshot. The keyboard shortcut for this action will vary depending on the operating system you're using.
- On a Mac, pressing Cmd + Shift + 3 will capture a screenshot and save it as a new file (by default, this will be on your desktop). You might need to scroll down on the website and capture more images if you want to save all the content displayed there.
- On Windows 10, the keyboard shortcut Win + Prt Scr will save the screenshot as a new file in the Screenshots folder in File Explorer (unless you've changed the default location). Afterward, you may need to scroll through the website and capture additional screenshots to cover all the information in multiple screens.
Tips
- There are many browser extensions and add-ons that allow users to capture the entire webpage in a single action. You can explore and install them on your preferred web browser.
