Today, Mytour will guide you on how to browse and watch Netflix from any country of your choice on an Android device. Netflix's library varies by country, so you can use third-party virtual private network (VPN) applications to hide your IP address and access content from other regions. While Netflix has detected most free and paid VPN apps, this article highlights some of the most popular VPNs that still work with Netflix. Although these apps require payment after a 7-day trial, you can cancel your membership once the trial ends and sign up for a new free cycle using a different email address.
Steps
Using ExpressVPN
Download and install the ExpressVPN app from the Play Store. This is a free VPN application. With a VPN, you can send and receive data while directly connected to the internet from a different country.
Open the ExpressVPN app on your Android device. ExpressVPN features a red "∃" and "V" logo inside a white circle, surrounded by a red square. You can find it in your app drawer.
Tap on Start Free Trial. This red button is located at the bottom of the page.
- If you already have an ExpressVPN account, tap SIGN IN to log in.
Enter your email address. Tap on the "Email address" field and input your email.
- After the 7-day trial ends, you can either subscribe to a paid ExpressVPN plan or cancel your account and sign up for a new free trial using a different email.
Tap Start Free Trial. This red button is located below the email field.
Tap OK or No Thanks. Here, you can choose OK to automatically send crash reports and other data to ExpressVPN, or No Thanks to opt out.

Tap OK to proceed with setting up the VPN connection.
Tap OK in the pop-up dialog box. The ExpressVPN app will begin establishing a new VPN connection on your Android device.
Tap to select a country from the "Smart Location" dropdown menu (optional). Tap here to choose a specific location (if desired), and a list of available countries for switching will appear.
Select the country you wish to switch to.
Tap the Power icon on the screen. When the VPN is off, a red circle will appear around this button. Once you tap the Power button, your device will connect to the VPN and switch to the network of the selected country.
- After your device connects to the VPN and the red circle around the Power button turns green, a "Connected" notification will appear below.
Open Netflix. Once your device is connected to ExpressVPN, Netflix will automatically switch to the content of the country you selected for the VPN.
Using NordVPN
Download and install the NordVPN app from the Play Store. This is another free VPN application. With a VPN, you can send and receive data while directly connected to the internet from a different country.
Open the NordVPN app on your Android device. The NordVPN app features a blue and white mountain icon, typically located in the Apps drawer.
Tap SIGN UP. This blue button is located on the welcome page. You can start your free trial here.
- If you already have an account, tap LOG IN.
Enter your email address and account password. Input your email in the "Email" field, then enter the password for your new NordVPN account in the "Password" field.
Tap CREATE ACCOUNT. This blue button is located below the email and password fields. A new account will be created, and the available subscription plans page will open.
Tap START MY FREE 7-DAY TRIAL under any subscription plan. GooglePay payment information will pop up for you to input your details.
- If you do not cancel the subscription before the 7-day trial ends, your account will automatically be charged for the selected plan.
- If you do not wish to pay for the subscription, ensure you cancel the trial before it expires.
- After canceling, you can sign up for a new 7-day trial using a different email address.
Tap SUBSCRIBE at the bottom. This green button is located at the bottom of the GooglePay information window. Your choice will be confirmed, and the trial period will begin.
- If prompted, enter your Google account password and tap VERIFY.
Scroll down and select a country. You can find the list of available countries at the bottom. Next, simply tap on the name of the country you want to view.
- Alternatively, you can tap on a location in the map at the top.
Tap Continue in the pop-up dialog box. The first time you connect with NordVPN, you will be prompted to set up a VPN connection on your Android device. This button will ask you to allow the app to access VPN settings on your device.
Tap OK in the pop-up dialog box. The NordVPN app will be granted access to VPN settings.
Tap Continue to confirm NordVPN's new VPN connection.
Tap OK in the pop-up dialog box. The VPN connection will be established, and your network will switch to the country you selected.
Open Netflix. Once your device is connected to the VPN, Netflix will automatically switch to the content of the country you selected for the virtual private network.
