If you forget your Facebook password, you’ll need to reset it. Today, Mytour will walk you through the steps to change your Facebook password on the mobile app or website.
Steps
On the Mobile App
Launch the blue Facebook app with the white f logo.
- Log in if you aren’t automatically signed in.
Tap the ☰ button located at the bottom-right corner on iPhone or the top-right corner on Android.
Scroll down and tap on Account Settings.
- On iPhone, you’ll need to tap Settings first.
Select Security and Login.
Tap on Change password. This option is found under the "LOGIN" section.
Enter your current password in the top field.
Enter your new password in the next field.
Re-enter your new password in the final field.
Tap on Save Changes. Your Facebook password has now been updated.
On a Computer
Go to http://www.facebook.com using your web browser.
- Log in if you aren’t automatically signed in.
Click on Settings at the bottom of the menu.
Select Security and Login in the top-left corner of the window.
Scroll down and click on Change password.
Enter your current password in the top field.
Type your new password in the next field.
Re-enter your new password in the final field.
Click on Save Changes. Your Facebook password has now been updated.
Tips
- You might also need to update your Facebook email address, which is just as straightforward.
