Mytour will guide you on how to determine if the hard drive on your Windows computer is an SSD (Solid State Drive) or HDD (Hard Disk Drive).

Steps

Press ⊞ Win+S. This key combination will open the Windows Search bar.

Type optimize. The matching results will appear in the list.

Click on Defragment and Optimize Drives (Defragment and optimize drives). This option appears at the top of the search results. The Optimize Drives control panel will open.

Look for the disk type under the “Media Type” heading. If your computer has multiple drives, they will be listed separately.
